A new drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus was developed by pharmacologists of the Scientific Center for Innovative Medicines of VolgSMU under the guidance of Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy of the Institute of NMFO of VolgSMU Ivan Tyurenkov.
